Tasting Notes

Gradevolmente leggero al naso, con sentori delicati e sottili. Profondo invece il palato, con un sacco di agrumi e passaggi complessi. Il finale è lungo e lascia sviluppare note affumicate e richiami al cioccolato e alla menta.

Mezcal "Chichicapa" - Del Maguey: Why we like it

Il villaggio di Chichicapa si trova a sud di Oaxaca, a due ore di macchina percorrendo una strada sterrata. Separato dalla valle di Oaxaca da una catena montuosa, è caratterizzato da un clima parte tropicale, parte desertico. È da qui che arriva il Mezcal “Chichicapa” - Del Maguey, il quale prende il nome proprio dall’omonimo villaggio. Distillato dal maestro mezcalero Faustino Garcia Vasquez, è integerrimo e irreprensibile nel ricordare, tramite le sue caratteristiche organolettiche, gli antichi e tradizionali processi produttivi che sono stati seguiti per ottenerlo.
