Two Italian-American brothers, John and Harry Mariani, and the dream of doing something great in Montalcino: the adventure of Castello Banfi started on this premise in 1978. And they did do something great, or more than great, considering the fame that their treasures enjoy today, from the Brunello to the Chianti Classico, from the Serena to the Cuvée Aurora. Since 2830 hectares is a lot of land to visit, maybe it’s easier to explore this absurd collection.
