Rallo

The story of the winery founded by Diego Rallo in 1860 is an exciting one to say the least. We are talking about a winery that over the decades has been able to establish itself as one of the most important and famous companies in the production of Marsala, a fortified wine, symbol not only of a city, but also of the whole Trapani area. Over a century of commercial and public success, as well as prizes and awards issued in the most important national and international wine competitions, led Rallo wines to be celebrated and sought after for the tables of the most noble families in Italy, starting with the Savoy family. At the end of the last century, when the Vesco family took over the management of the company, they diversified the production line, starting a decisive conversion of the vineyards to organic farming. Today Andrea Vesco leads Rallo with great and skilful commitment, personally and scrupulously taking care of all stages of production: from the vineyard to the bottling process, all with the professional support of a staff of over twenty trained and valid collaborators. This is how, from the areas of Alcamo, Marsala and Pantelleria, some of the most vibrant wines of Western Sicily continue to arrive, 100% organic, expressive and intense like few others. The hectares of vines, at the moment, are about 80, to which another 10 conduits for rent are added, for an annual production that reaches 400 thousand bottles. From Passito di Pantelleria "Bugeber" to white "La Cuba", from "Evrò" to red "La Clarissa", passing through white "Al Qasar", "Il Principe" and "Carta d'Oro", and all the others, these are wines which bring to mind the most beautiful Sicilian wine.
