Tasting Notes

Located in the Saint-Julien appellation, on a deep rock plateau among the most homogeneous in the Médoc, Château Gruaud Larose is a wine with a strong personality. In recent years it has undergone an incredible development, thanks to a new technical direction that has highlighted the enormous potential of this domaine. The score of 94-95+/100 Parker confirms the rise of this cru.
Impressive for its richness and elegance, Parker speculates that it could even surpass the best vintages of the decade – such as 2018, exceptional in these parts – and hoist itself as a fully-fledged mythical vintage. In the blend Cabernet Sauvignon dominates (84%), gives vigor and length to a wine with great pulp, which for some is on a par with the 1er Grand Cru Classé.
