Tasting Notes

This château - located on the limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion - met a turning point in 2018. The new consultant Thomas Duclot made the decision to turn towards whole-cluster vinification, which offers a more refined interpretation of this terroir.
The aromatic bouquet of this Saint-Émilion AOC Grand Cru Classé "Château Beau-Séjour Bécot" 2021 by Château Beau-Sejour Bécot, thanks to the majority of Merlot in the blend, opens towards the aromas of ripe fruit and spices, both on the nose and in the mouth. Here it’s especially defined by a great persistence and a salty note on the finish. The tannins, fresh and subtle, are the prelude to a vintage of great finesse and good ageing potential.
