Château Le Gay est une propriété qui avait pris son envol grâce à la volonté d'une femme extraordinaire, Catherine Peré-Vergé, épaulée par le charismatique œnologue Michel Rolland. Sans sa muse, il poursuit son irrésistible ascension et ne faillit pas sur ce millésime 2021. Noté 96/100 Suckling, il possède le panache épicé d'un fruit chatoyant qui caractérisait si bien le cru sous l’ère Péré-Vergé. Fins, définissant une vraie trame sur une longueur appréciable, les tanins sont là en renfort d'une matière construite pour l'avenir.

Ce millésime confirme la grande forme de cette propriété et vous fait pénétrer de plain-pied dans la cour des grands de Pomerol.
