Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour, it expresses a wonderful bouquet made up of clear floral and fruity notes, cherry and raspberry, enhanced by a reference to Mediterranean scrub. Crisp and sinuous in the mouth, it has outstanding character. A fresh, balanced and harmonious palate, characterised by a nice tannic structure and a delicious, very persistent finish.

The only DOCG wine in Maremma, Morellino di Scansano is able to perfectly interpret the peculiar characteristics of this place, thanks to a marked Mediterranean vocation which conveys a generosity to Sangiovese which is hard to find elsewhere. "Bellamarsilia", a vintage red wine, is easy, carefree, characterised by an exuberant freshness without losing anything in terms of depth. A very drinkable wine with a marked gastronomical vocation, ideal to accompany rich Tuscan cuisine.
