This little green and blue piece of paradise in Alto Adige isn't just a lovely image for a postcard. Quite the contrary. It's a veritable laboratory of winemaking of the most enlightened form where new ideas spring up like flowers in spring. This is Tramin and these are there wines: modern, well thought out, and natural. We suggest starting with their Selida and Nussbaumer Gewürztraminers, which have basically become honorary mayors of Termeno (Italian, for the town the winery was named after, Tramin). Follow that up with a out-of-the-ordinary elegant Pinot Noir, Maglen.
