Tasting Notes

Dull garnet red colour. Its expressive bouquet reveals a palate of scents with a wide variety of nuances: macerated red rose petals, sour cherry, blueberry and blackberry, sage and rosemary, with citrus scents. Palate with surprising finesse. Intense aromas, deep yet delicate in their expression. Rich and complete with a harmonious structure and a mouthfeel capable of revealing new profiles and new emotions as times goes by. Immense.

Giacosa's "red label" is legendary. This is the Reserve version of his great Barbaresco, made only in exceptional vintages, like this 2011. Vinified with 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested exclusively in the renowned Asili cru, after fermentation, the Reserve spends a long time ageing in large barrels and in the bottle. A red wine which expresses itself with all the class and courtesy of a great aristocrat.

This bottle comes from private collections, restaurants, wine shops, or rare wines merchants. Before being put on sale, it has been carefully checked by the Tannico Team. However, after so many years, we cannot guarantee that the wine is still perfectly preserved.
