Alto Adige Sauvignon Blanc DOC “Lehen” 2016 - Alois Lageder: Why we like it

The wines of the Selezione Terroir come from the best production areas and express all their individual characteristics. As the name suggests each wine is a distinct expression of its specific terroir and the position, altitude and exposure of the vineyards including the micro-climate and geology of the land. Over the years the Alois Lageder estate has identified single vineyards and the best plots of each zone of origin, unique places capable of conveying their own personality clearly through the wine. Sauvignon Blanc Lehen, made from grapes of selected zones of Terlano, is a white wine fermented and matured in large steel vats for a period of about 4 months. A harmonic extremely fine wine surprising for its balance and overall pleasantness.
